Associate Account Manager

Job Purpose

The Associate Account Manager leads the day-to-day business engagement with internet retailers on behalf of our brand partners.  He/she is responsible for executing sales and marketing activities, overseeing merchandising initiatives and managing ad hoc opportunities with the objective of maximizing the business with each internet retailer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage & cultivate the day-to-day relationship between each Brand Partner and each Internet Retailer

  • Manage and work cross functionally on product assortments with assigned Internet Retailers

  • Manage Promotional Calendars on behalf of each brand with each Internet Retailer

  • Assist in ad hoc requests including escalating customer service, operations, and transactional issues

  • Organize, manage and follow-up on the execution of all necessary tasks

  • Collaborate with Brand Management Team on updates, recaps and read outs to brands

  • Forecast, plan and achieve sales targets for each retailer

  • Lead onboarding of new brands and program negotiations as required

  • Ensure all relevant internal and external trackers are maintained (e.g., BrandJump Portal, Marketing Calendar, etc.)

  • Partner with Creative team on execution of content initiatives as required

  • Accurately track time spent working with each brand partner and/or retailer in TSheets (A QuickBooks Company)

  • Other relevant tasks and projects as needed

Skills, Qualifications & Expertise

  • 1+ years in an Ecommerce Buying or Merchandising role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • Strong communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Exceptional organization & follow-up ability

  • Extremely high sense of urgency and natural desire to serve our brand and retail partners

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture, and comfortable in an occasionally ambiguous/start-up environment

  • Basic retail math skills

Working Conditions

  • BrandJump is a full-time remote operation and each team member works from their home office

  • Some travel may be required – approx. 10% of time
