BrandJump Announces New Roles, Promotions to Enhance Company’s Merchandising Arm

Both director-level and Amazon positions will continue to elevate BrandJump’s merchandising strategies and management between home furnishings brands and online retailers

LOS ANGELES – January 24, 2023 – BrandJump, a leading ecommerce agency, has announced several new positions to enhance its merchandising services for clients in the home furnishings industry.

Two of BrandJump’s existing leaders have been promoted to director roles. Bianca Capasso has been promoted to Director of Merchandising and Melley Richards has been promoted to Director of Brand Content. Together, Capasso and Richards lead BrandJump's merchandising arm, which is responsible for optimizing client data, content and assets and ensuring a high-quality presentation on home furnishing retailer websites.

BrandJump has also added a new role focused on Amazon. Riddhi Sharma recently joined the company as Amazon Content Manager and will be responsible for managing the product lifecycles, augmenting listings, enhancing brand stores and creating A+ content within Amazon’s Vendor and Seller Central platforms. Sharma joins the company from Ideoclick, Inc., where she managed online catalogs across a wide span of product categories for various clients on Amazon.

With digital merchandising a key pillar of BrandJump’s service offering, these new roles will play a part in continuously improving how clients’ home furnishings products are merchandised across retailers.

"As the requirements of retailers evolve and increase in complexity, we’re progressing our internal teams’ functions to ensure our brand partners can easily achieve best-in-class merchandising with their online partners,” said CEO Josh Walter. “I’m excited to see Bianca, Melley and Riddhi take their roles by storm and create real impact for the brands that we work with.”

Capasso and Richards were both promoted from associate director roles at BrandJump.

In her new role, Capasso will continue to direct the merchandising team, which manages how brand clients and their products are presented across various internet retailers.  Having joined BrandJump in 2020, Capasso has progressively managed the team to develop and maintain workflows and processes that deliver on client needs. Before joining BrandJump, Capasso oversaw ecommerce brands across categories for the home and fashion retailers Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook.

Richards has held several progressive roles at BrandJump since 2018. As Director of Brand Content, she leads a team of brand content managers who drive the product content strategy for clients to increase conversions across their internet retail partners. Prior to BrandJump, Richards worked in merchandising and site merchandising at Target.com.

The announcement follows recent promotions within BrandJump’s sales team, as Luke Schoenly was recently named Director of Sales and Christie Lomanov was named Senior Brand Manager.

"Our leadership team consistently demonstrates their ability to elevate BrandJump’s service, both in what we ultimately provide to clients and in their support and leadership of our talented team," said CEO Josh Walter. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to see everyone step into these roles and for what’s to come in 2023.”
